With Thanksgiving in the books and Christmas less than a month away, it’s time to start looking ahead to New Year’s Eve in Branson. In addition to celebrations at places like the Chateau on the Lake, Big Cedar and more, a handful of shows will also host special New Year’s Eve shows.

Earlier this month, the folks at the Americana Theatre announced they’d be hosting an “all-star” event to help ring in 2018.

According to a release, the evening will kick off at 8 p.m. with dinner catered by Shorty Smalls, followed at 9 p.m. by a “super-sized” show slated to run until midnight.

Headlining the show will be Americana Theatre headliners and “Classic Country’s Patsy Cline & Friends” stars C.J. Newsom, Terry “Homer Lee” Sanders and the Re-Cliners Band, Janice Martin, star of “The Janice Martin Cirque Show,” as well as two performers who will call the venue home next year with singer/songwriter Billy Yates, who will headline “Billy Yates’ Hit Songwriters in the Round,” and Nedgra Culp, who will star in “Nedgra Culp & Girls on Fire” in 2018.

For tickets and additional information, call the Americana Theatre at 417-544-8700, or visit americanatheatrebranson.com.

In addition to the show at the Americana Theatre, there are a half-dozen more shows hosting special New Year’s Eve shows in Branson. Those shows include:

“For many years, folks have been asking us to put together a special New Year’s Eve concert,” Up Close Concerts owner and promoter Bob Cannella said. “We have never done this before in Branson, and we thought it is finally time to give folks who do not want to be out at midnight an option so they could still have a special way to start the new year.”

Tickets for “Bill Anderson & Friends” on New Year’s Eve are on sale at the Welk resort Theatre box office, or at upcloseconcerts.com.
