Branson High School’s baseball team drew the No. 5 seed and will play No. 4 Ozark in the opening round of the Class 5 District 10 Tournament next Saturday at Springfield Parkview High School.

The winner of the Branson-Ozark game will play top-seeded Glendale (15-6) in the semifinals at 4 p.m. May 13.

The other first-round games next Saturday will have No. 2 Nixa playing No. 7 Springfield Parkview and No. 3 Springfield Kickapoo taking on No. 6 West Plains.

The championship game is set for 6 p.m. May 14.

In Class 3 District 12, fourth-seeded Forsyth will play No. 5 Sarcoxie in a 4 p.m. game Friday at Clever. The winner of that game will face No. 1 Marionville at 4 p.m. May 13. The second seed in the tournament is the host Bluejays.

In Class 2 District 5, Blue Eye is the sixth seed in the seven-team field and will play No. 3 Galena at 3:30 p.m. May 13 in Seymour. The winner of that game will play the winner of the Seymour-Sparta first-round game.

For the girls’ soccer postseason, host Branson was seeded fourth in the four-team Class 4 District 9 Tournament.

The Lady Pirates will play top-seeded Kickapoo in a semifinal game at 5 p.m. May 14, with No. 2 Nixa and No. 3 Ozark squaring off in the other semifinal. The winners will play at 5 p.m. May 16.
