Dear editor:

The Junior Auxiliary of Taney County has designated February as “Have a Heart” month and is asking the community to participate by donating new stuffed animals for the Tender Critters service project. For four years, JATC has collected and donated these small, cuddly "critters" to the emergency department at Skaggs Regional Medical Center for children.

Many of the churches in Taney County are now collecting Tender Critters for Junior Auxiliary. If any church or business would like a flyer to display and collect these toys, call Diane at 417-334-8469 and leave a message. Otherwise, please feel free to drop the "critters" off at any of the collection locations, including Branson United Methodist Church, Skaggs Fitness Center at the RecPlex, Branson Curves and Liberty Bank on 165.
