Graveside services for Hazel Holt, 98, of Branson, will be held July 16, 2019, 10 a.m., in Painter Cemetery, Shell Knob, Mo. Services were under the direction of Snapp-Bearden Funeral Home and Crematory, Branson.

She died July 9, 2019.

Hazel was born on Oct. 5, 1920, in Sand Gap, Ky., daughter of Mike and Ninnie Morris Simpson. She grew up in Ky. and graduated from Holmes High School, in Covington, Ky. She and her husband Jay “Jack” Holt moved to Shell Knob, in 1968. She worked for their realty company, in Shell Knob, as the office manager. After Jack’s passing, she moved to Branson. She enjoyed sewing, reading and gardening.

 She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; brother, Paul Simpson and sister, Ruth Simpson.

Survivors include her children, Gilda Colvert, of Branson and Michael Holt and wife, Karen, of Eureka Springs, Ark.; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
