No formal services for Michael Wayne Hill, 56, of Hollister, are planned at this time. Arrangements and cremation were under the direction of Cremations of the Ozarks.

He died May 31, 2019. 

Mike was born March 24, 1963, in Camp Pendleton, Calif., son of Illene and James Hill, Sr. He was joined in marriage July 22, 1995, to Raylene Bernard Hill, for 23 years. He is said to have been a talented, hardworking man who could fix anything with an engine. 

He enjoyed hot rods, classic cars, southern classic rock and eagles. Most of all, he loved to fish and he loved his dogs.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Edward Hill and James Hill, Jr.

Survivors include his wife, of Hollister; daughter, Christy Serrano, of Branson; brothers, Kenneth Hill and wife, Dawn, of Pineville, N.C. and Steven Hill and wife, Carol, of Colorado Springs, Colo.; sister, Leatha Hill, of Branson; sister-in-law, Susan Hill, of Pineville, N.C. and a godson, Daniel Plank of Hollister.

Memorials, in lieu of flowers, may be made to Jesus Was Homeless at jesuswashomeless.org or to your local animal rescue organization.
