Memorial mass for John “Jack” Lee Martin, Jr., 65, of Lampe, Mo., is planned for a later time. Arrangements and cremation were under the direction of Cremations of the Ozarks.

He died June 3, 2019. 

Jack was born March 11, 1954, in Bryan, Texas, son of John, Sr. and Jessie “Kathryn” Davis Martin. He loved all music, but his passion was for playing Jazz. 

He played many places around Northwest Ark. and Southwest Mo. over the years. He, also, enjoyed the outdoors while hiking, playing tennis, riding bikes and four-wheelers and traveling. He is said have been a great cook and great lawyer. 

He was preceded in death by his father. 

Survivors include his mother, of Dallas, Texas; daughters, Shannon (Christopher) Sulzen, of Rogers, Ark. and Grace (Shelby) Billups, of Cave Springs, Ark.; son, Miles Martin, of Cave Springs, Ark.; brothers, Bill (Melissa) Martin, of Dallas, Texas and David Martin, of Hot Springs, Ark.; sister, Sally Shockley, of Windsor, Colo.; four grandchildren; significant other, Colleen Hodge, of Kimberling City, Mo. and former wife, Holly Allen, of Rogers, Ark.
