Burial for George Aneloski, 95, of Lampe, Mo., will take place at a later date in Ridgewood Cemetery, Des Plaines, Ill., with grandson-in-law, Pastor David Landy, officiating. Cremation was under the direction of Stumpff Funeral Home, Kimberling City, Mo.

He died June 2, 2019.

George was born Feb. 24, 1924, in Virden, Ill., son of Edward and Anna Gazulris Aneloski. He had been a resident of the area for 28 years, moving here from Dallas, Texas. He served his country proudly in the U.S. Army Air Corps as a 2nd Lieutenant Bomber Pilot. He was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers; one sister and granddaughter, Lisa Maurer.

Survivors include his wife of 74 years, Virginia Aneloski, of Lampe, Mo.; daughters, Patricia Eaton and husband, Bob, of Racine, Wis. and Pamela Lindsay and husband, Bob, of Weatherford, Texas; five granddaughters; thirteen great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
