FORSYTH — A Kissee Mills teen has been charged with first-degree statutory sodomy for a March 2010 incident involving a 12-year-old girl.

According to a report filed by the Forsyth Police Department, Cody Blake Wry, 19, is suspected of “putting his hands down a 12-year-old female’s pants and penetrating her vagina.”

In the report, the officer said the victim disclosed this information to him and a social worker during a recorded interview in May of 2010. She repeated the accusations during another recorded interview at the Lakes Area Child Advocacy Center in Branson West several days later, the report states. The charge against Wry is a class A felony and carries a minimum punishment of five years in the Missouri Department of Corrections, with the maximum penalty being life imprisonment, according to state law.

A warrant for Wry’s arrest was issued April 4, according to Missouri Case.net, and a representative for the Taney County Jail said Monday morning that he had not yet been picked up.

His bond is set at $50,000 and includes conditions that he have no contact with the victim, her family or anyone else under the age of 18, according to Case.net.
