A man from Reeds Spring was killed in a two vehicle crash involving a motorcycle on June 12, south of Highlandville in Christian County.

The online crash report issued by the Missouri State Highway Patrol said Raymond Lambert, 59, of Reeds Spring was operating a 2006 Harley Davidson FXDI Motorcycle on Route O at 7:25 p.m., when an oncoming 2003 Ford F-150, driven by Joshua Mease, 35, of Reeds Spring, failed to yield and turned in front of Lambert’s motorcycle.

Lambert was pronounced dead at the scene by Christian County Coroner Caleb Baker at 8:35 p.m. and transported to the Springfield Mortuary. A passenger on the motorcycle, Deborah Massimiano, 56, of Branson was transported to CoxSouth in Springfield to be treated for her serious injuries, stated the online crash report. 

According to the highway patrol online arrest report, Mease was arrested, but released. He is being charged with possession of marijuana and misdemeanor careless and imprudent driving resulting in a fatality crash.

As required by law, the surviving driver was tested for alcohol. Troop D of the MSHP reported this fatality crash as its 50th for 2019, according to the online crash report.
