A man from Forsyth was killed in a two vehicle crash involving a dump truck this afternoon in Kirbyville. 

In the online crash report, the Missouri State Highway Patrol said Jon Eggebrecht, 39, of Forsyth was traveling east on Highway 76 in a 1995 Ford F-150 at 12:50 p.m., when he crossed the center line and was struck by a westbound 1985 Kenworth W900 Dump Truck being operated by David William, 57, of Kissee Mills. The dump truck then ran off of the roadway and overturned. 

Eggebrecht was pronounced dead at the scene at 1:40 p.m. by Taney County Deputy Coroner Bryan Koppitz. As required by law the surviving driver was tested for alcohol, stated the online crash report.

Both Eggebrecht and William were wearing their seatbelt’s, according to the online crash report. The highway patrol reports this fatality accident as its 48th for 2019.
