County still considering changes to nightly rental guidance codes

FORSYTH — Taney County Commissioners this week again discussed a potential change to the county’s development guidance code which would restrict properties used for nightly rentals.

Planning Administrator Bob Atchley said the county currently requires conditional use permits for properties rented out as nightly rentals, which are defined as residential buildings rented out for fewer than 30 days at a time.
