State approval next step in sidewalk project

FORSYTH — State transportation officials are expected to visit Forsyth soon for a site inspection for a proposed project adding approximately 1,200 feet of sidewalk along U.S. 160.

Brad Allbritton with Schultz Surveying & Engineering, the firm handling design services for the city, said preliminary plans were submitted to the Missouri Department of Transportation in November.
