Missouri Senate awaits ephedrine bill after passing house

The Missouri Senate will soon vote on a bill that could change ephedrine laws in Missouri and replace local ordinances concerning the purchase of drugs containing ephedrine.

The bill, House Bill 218, written by Rep. Stanley Cox, aims to drastically reduce the amount of over-the-counter precursor methamphetamine drugs purchased for unlawful reasons.
