Forsyth approves bond refinancing, estimated savings almost $500,000

FORSYTH — The Forsyth Board of Aldermen approved refinancing three bond series, expecting to save the city nearly a half million dollars.

The bulk of the savings comes from refinancing two U.S. Department of Agriculture bonds used for water and sewer system improvements.
